An opportunity to one day recounting your adventure to your grandchild sitting in your lap, your adventure and your noble contribution to rejuvenate the deity that had become dirty. Become true follower of Gandhi by following his teaching, “Be the change you want to see in the world”..Walk 4,700 kms in seven months, through the mountains and plains, a test of human endurance, map the pollution(record dutifully all locations where untreated sewage or industrial effluents enter Ganga, be a part of 24 public meetings to let your slogan “No more dumping of untreated sewage, and industrial waste into my Ganga- my life support” be heard by the countrymen.

From Haridwar to Gomukh

19 days. 20 August 2020 to 8 September 2020. Thrill of walking in the mountains from 1030 feet above mean sea level to 13,200 feet. Sleep in tents. Be one with nature. Enjoy the Himalayas. All along the way there is a road or a track.

3 to 7 days relay walk in the plains

Choose your patch in any of the five states, Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. See for yourself the degradation of the deity, note the points of entry of untreated sewage and industrial pollutants, adopt a patch, say, slogan “No more dumping of untreated sewage, and industrial waste into my patch of Ganga- my life support”.
